ST. ELIZABETH CAMPUS
St. Elizabeth Campus | Transition to Assisted Living
Originally established in the early 20th century, the St. Elizabeth campus, later known as Yakima Regional Hospital, evolved over decades into a full-service acute care facility. The current improvements total nearly 290,000 square feet across six floors plus a basement, situated on 8.44 acres in the heart of Yakima. Major construction and expansions occurred between 1963 and 2010, reflecting the campus’s continuous growth to meet community healthcare needs.
Historically licensed for up to 214 beds, the hospital ceased operations in 2019 and its license was subsequently terminated. In 2020, Hogback Healthcare Partners, LLC acquired the property and maintained a deliberate and thoughtful hold, recognizing the long-term potential of its infrastructure, scale, and underlying entitlements.
On March 19, 2026, Hogback closed on the sale of the campus to Trouvé Healthcare. Trouvé plans to revitalize the property as an assisted living facility, restoring purpose to a site that has served the Yakima community for generations.
This transition honors the campus’s legacy while positioning it for a renewed future in care.
