The Yakima Mile is a one-mile, point-to-point road race, opening a gradual downhill course along Yakima Ave and finishing in the shadows of the historic Art Deco Larson Building. The mile is a distance accessible for many ability levels at any age. The 2024 total prize purse exceeded $50,000 – for the 5th Annual Yakima Mile!

Hogback Development Company’s Security Department - is committed to monitoring and protecting Hogback's properties to keep staff, visitors, tenants, and inventory safe and secure. They are trained to respond to distress calls, panic alarms, and respond to and work to resolve emergency incidents.
